The coding region has been updated to extend the N-terminus to one that is more supported by available transcript and homology data, and to include an alternative splice acceptor site at exon 12 based on the splice pattern of BC131505.1, which is the longest transcript available for this locus. The majority of human transcripts, including AK092270.1 and BC044932.1, include an extra 3 nts in exon 12 due to alternative splicing, and would encode an additional alanine residue at position 354 of the protein, but all of these transcripts are partial. |
