Notes:

1) 'Nom. nov.' (= nomen novum, = replacement name, = avowed substitute) refers to a new name based on a legitimate or illegitimate, previously published name, which is its replaced synonym and which, when legitimate, does not provide the final species epithet, name, or stem of the replacement name.
2) 'Nom. cons.' (= nomen conservandum, = conserved name) refers to a name selected by the procedure under its Code and meant to be used for all earlier synonyms and homonyms.
3) A synonym that was replaced by a replacement name or nomen novum.
4) 'Orth. var.' (= orthographic variant) refers to a name not following standard rules of orthography, such as gender disagreement between genus and species, either when originally published or mistakenly corrected in later publications; includes names which are "incorrect original spellings" and "incorrect subsequent spellings" in zoological parlance.
