Mirroring of SRA Data
SRA has 3 major components with sligtly different rules of mirroring.
Metadata
This component include livelist of SRA objects as well as xml meta objects itself. Please either download them from ftp or use our mirring service.
Reads (and placement) files
SRA reads (and placement) files are accessioned as RUNs. please use SRA toolkit to access/copy them.
Auxiliary data
SRA also archive derivative data such as methylation, motifs, analysis, assemblies, variation reports etc. So far this category has negligent amount of data and still being developed so consistent mirroring mechanism will be provided later.
