Metastatic brain tumor model mice were created by injecting mCherry-expressing CMT167 cell lines into the internal carotid artery of C57BL/6J mice. The tumor cells in these mice were isolated and collected over time during the tumor formation process, and RNA sequencing was performed. This enabled the identification of factors that are advantageous for metastasis formation. Furthermore, at the 7 days after tumor cell injection, mCherry incorporated microglia were isolated from the cerebral cortex of the mice, and RNA sequencing was performed.
