The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum 3D7 was used in this project. The phosphofructokinase 9 (PF3D7_0915400) C-terminus of the parasite was firstly tagged with 2XMyc, P2A and T2A skip peptides, and mNeonGreen using selection-linked integration.
More...The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum 3D7 was used in this project. The phosphofructokinase 9 (PF3D7_0915400) C-terminus of the parasite was firstly tagged with 2XMyc, P2A and T2A skip peptides, and mNeonGreen using selection-linked integration. The transgenic parasite was cultured in RPMI1640 supplemented with 0.5% Albumax and different concentrations of glucose. After indicated duration of maintanance, total RNA of the parasite was purified, and RNA sequencing was performed to clarify the transcriptomic differences depending on the culture conditions.
