Fucoidan is a type of natural active polysaccharide mainly extracted from marine brown algae containing sufficient L-fucose and sulfate eater groups. Given the potential of fucoidan in various biological activity, such as immune regulation, anticancer, radiation protection, antiviral, antioxidant, and controlling chronic metabolic diseases, investigating its applicability in aquatic animal feed is warranted.
