Kinetoplastida (kinetoplasts)

Comparative genomics project of three trypanosomatid protozoa

This project consists of comparative sequence analysis of three trypanosomatid protozoa. These species are pathogenic and cause disease and death in humans. This project will provide an aid to studying the evolution and biology associated with these protozoa, and may provide molecular clues to combat infestion and disease.
