More...In this study, RNA-Seq data generated on triplicate bar-coded libraries were generated on the transcriptomes from healthy and virus-infected (48 h-post infection) flies. These data were annotated against the MdSGHV, M. domestica and Drosophila databases to address the genes and gene pathways regulated by the SGHV infection. Also performed were a series of functional assays targeted the activities of the antimicrobial peptides and the potential disruption of the hormonal cascade involved in oogenesis in MdSGHV-infected females.
