We have sequenced eight individuals with different structural variants in a palindrome that includes the VCY genes, using the 10x Genomics Chromium technology. This technology should allow the entire structure, and the surrounding genomic regions, to be assembled from the sequences of single molecules and thus enable a sequence-level description of the alternative structures. This data is part of a pre-publication release.
