Bocaccio (Sebastes paucispinis) are a rockfish species found throughout California marine waters. Rockfishes are one of the most rapidly diversifying teleost clades worldwide consisting of more than 130 different species, the highest concentration of which are found off the California coast.. These data have been produced as part of the CCGP. Sequencing was conducted with HiFi Pacific Biosciences long reads at UCDavis Genome Core, Dovetail's OmniC libraries, and Illumina sequencing at UCBerkeley QB3 Genomics Core.
