DNA was extracted from young leaves of Afzelia xylocarpa. Sequencing was done on Illumina HiSeq with paired end sequencing of a library with insert size about 500 nt. Chloroplast and mitochondrial genomes were assembled separately and reads corresponding to them were eliminated from the dataset. The remaining reads were assembled with MaSuRCA.
