A cohort of 6000 pregnant women and their babies were recruited to establish Group B Streptococcus (GBS) seroepidemiology and colonisation in Uganda. Microbiological sampling was performed on healthy mothers and babies at birth along with collection of pathogens in cases of disease. This data is part of a pre-publication release.
