Bi-cultures (S.wolfei + M. hungatei) and Tri-cultures (S.wolfei + M. hungatei + M. soehngenii) were grown in triplicates in CP medium with 20 mM Na-Butyrate. After 10 mM butyrate was consumed, RNA was isolated from the full culture (100 ml) for RNAseq. A total of eight samples were thus collected: SwMh1, SwMh2, SwMh3, SwMh4 (bi-cultures) and SwMhMs1, SwMhMs2, SwMhMs3, SwMhMs4 (tri-cultures). Less...
