Actinobacillus porcitonsillarum is a non-pathogenic Gram-negative bacterium of the Pasteurellaceae family, which phenotypically resembles the pathogen Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae. Previous studies suggested that Actinobacillus porcitonsillarum represents a new species, yet no full genome has been sequenced so far.
