Note: ICLAC investigated HCC60 after receiving a query about its shared donor origin with NCI-H23, which is reported to come from a different donor. Publicly available STR profiles matched NCI-H23. The originator's laboratory was contacted and was able to find an STR profile from a 1999 sample. On reviewing the STR profile, it matched 2774 and A2774 (likely to be the same cell line under different names).
