Description: MightyMu_ACT is a 5.3 kb, modified maize Mu1 transposon designed for activation tagging and to allowed plasmid rescue from total genomic DNA. Total leaf DNA was double digested using BamHI and BglII, and ligated to form circular plasmids. DH10B cells were transformed and then screened on LB plates with ampicillin.
