Description

Protocols: Plants were grown in normal greenhouse growth conditions Control samples were maintained at normal conditions at 23 degrees Celsius for 24 hours. Cold samples were exposed to temperature of 4 degrees Celsius for 24 hours. Total RNA was extracted from frozen plant tissue. Invitrogen Plant RNA Reagent, chloroform, isopropanol, and DNAse were used to obtain RNA. Qiagen RNA cleanup kit was used to remove any enzymes used in extraction. Single-end libraries were quantified by qPCR and prepared using an Illumina TruSeq RNA prep kit
