Aged 2 months with atleast 3-5 green leaves, a minimum length of 5 cm of white roots and stem diameters of between 0.5cm to 1.0cm were chosen for infection studies.

Description: High throughput sequencing was accomplished using RNA-Seq technology based on the Illumina HiSeqTm 2000 platform. Sets of library derived from infected plants (experimental groups) at time points (96 hr) shows over forty million reads were generated, each corresponding to coverage of~ 4, 000, 000, 000 bases. About 1% reads were mapped to Musa acuminata DH Pahang genome sequence.
