Description

Total RNA was isolated from the digestive gland tissue of multiple C. virginica collected at sites along the Mississippi and Alabama coast of the Gulf of Mexico during the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Next-generation sequencing was performed to identify novel molecular biomarkers that may be useful for assessing the impact from hydrocarbon exposure.
