tissue_collection_informationLarvae were dissected longitudinally and the entire midgut was removed with scissors and forceps. The food debris in the midgut was washed away with PBS twice, then tissue was collected in Trizol and processed for RNA isolation. Samples may contain contaminating muscle, trachea and hemocytes associated with the midgut tissue.
