Description

Phyllostomus discolor (pale spear-nosed bat) is a bat species in the family of Phyllostomidae and lives in Central and South America. The sample was collected by Sonja Vernes from the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen. This sample is being used to generate chromosomal level reference assembly as part of the Bat1K Project.
