UI-R-DY0 is a non-normalized Rat cartilage library (RC) constructed in pT3T7 PAC vector according to the procedure described by Bonaldo, Lennon & Soares (Genome Research Genome 6: 791-806, 1996). The oligonucleotide used to prime first strand synthesis contained the sequence tag CTAATGGACG between the Not I cloning site and dT18 stretch. The Rat cartilage tissue was provided by Dr Jeff Stevens at the University of Iowa.
