Description

The original genome sequence of Thermus thermophilus strain HB8, which was enclosed in an ampoule in 1970, by the modern sequencing technology. This 'new' sequence will virtually replace the HB8 genome sequence registered in the database and be the standard for the T. thermophilus research community.
