Transcriptional profiling of EBV gene in nasal NK/T lymphoma and chronic active EBV infection

(Submitter supplied) Nasal T/NK lymphoma is a unique subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) that is aggressive and incurable closely associated with Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)3. The clonal expansion of EB infected T- or NK cell is also seen in patients with chronic active EBV (CAEBV) infection, suggesting that two diseases might partly share a similar mechanism by which EBV affect host cellular genes. Single HHV-4 ViruChip

(Submitter supplied) The ViruChip HHV-4(Celonex, Inc., Edmonton, Canada), the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) DNA chip is made up of triplicate spots of 60-mer oligonucleotide specific probes for each EBV transcription unit. Human genes (Tubilin, G3PDH, Action, and ribo-S9) were included in order to standardize the amount of applied cDNA and to normalize the signals between samples and references.
