(Submitter supplied) Purpose: Decitabine is a deoxycytidine nucleoside derivative inhibitor of DNA-methyltransferases indicated for treatment of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). Laboratory evidence shows that pretreatment of AML cell lines can sensitize leukemia cells to chemotherapy and inhibit clonogenic potential.
