(Submitter supplied) Using chromatin conformation capture methods, we learned that the latent episome of the human Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) displays preferential chromosome association that correlates with gene density. The episome avoids gene-rich chromosomes and favors gene-poor chromosomes.
