Haemophilus parasuis gene expression the in lung

(Submitter supplied) Purpose: Identify differentially expressed genes in pig lung, compared to growth on chocolate agar plate. Methods: In order to study the gene expression at this location, we sequenced ex vivo and in vivo H. parasuis transcriptome using a metatranscriptomic approach. Gene expression was compared with conventional plate culture. Haemophilus parasuis F9 transcriptome in biofilm and planktonic cultures using RNA sequencing

(Submitter supplied) Purpose: Study transcriptome differences between biofilm, planktonic and stationary cultures. Methods: Total mRNA from in vitro cultures was extracted and sequenced using Ion Torrent PGM sequencer. Results: Characteristic transcriptomic profile was observed for biofilm, planktonic and stationary cultures. Biofilm and planktonic were similar biological states.
