Predicted to enable 3'-5' exonuclease activity and protein kinase activity. Involved in flagellated sperm motility. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including cellular response to leukemia inhibitory factor; epithelial cilium movement involved in extracellular fluid movement; and intraciliary transport. Located in axonemal microtubule; centrosome; and ciliary basal body. Is active in axonemal A tubule inner sheath and sperm flagellum. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; genitourinary system; nervous system; respiratory system; and sensory organ. Used to study hydrocephalus.
