Involved in negative regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Acts upstream of or within embryonic cranial skeleton morphogenesis. Located in nucleus. Part of RNA polymerase II transcription repressor complex. Is expressed in several structures, including branchial arch; facial prominence; genitourinary system; limb; and limb bud.
