Enables DNA-binding transcription factor activity and RNA polymerase II cis-regulatory region sequence-specific DNA binding activity. Involved in several processes, including genital disc development; male pigmentation; and reproductive structure development. Located in nucleus and polytene chromosome band. Is expressed in several structures, including adult posterior abdominal ganglion neurons; anterior-posterior subdivision of organism; epithelium; genital disc; and visceral mesoderm derivative.
