Located in cell cortex; extracellular space; and perinuclear region of cytoplasm. Used to study endomyocardial fibrosis and liver cirrhosis. Biomarker of several diseases, including artery disease (multiple); lung disease (multiple); membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis; restrictive cardiomyopathy (multiple); and ureteral obstruction.
