    1. Rgf1p and Rgf2p are alternative guanine nucleotide exchange factors with an essential overlapping function in Rho1p activation during vegetative growth.

    2. Results show that Rgf1p, a Rho1p-specific GEF, acts upstream from the Pck2-Pmk1p MAPK cell integrity signaling pathway.
