    Results provide evidence that upregulation of RHAMM(B) is a valuable prognostic marker for pancreatic cancer and demonstrated that only the shorter isoform RHAMM(B), but not RHAMM(A) is significantly upregulated in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (PNET) and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Furthermore, RHAMM(B), but not RHAMM(A), is shown to promote PNET metastasis in part through EGFR signaling.
