MTSS1 is stabilized by the protein phosphatase activity of the tumor suppressor PTEN. Our data show that PTEN loss in PDAC cells results in both increased metastatic potential and decreased MTSS1 expression. Furthermore, we show that ectopic MTSS1 expression rescues this effect.
