Summary To examine the protein-coding potential of transcripts, we performed ribosomal profiling analysis. We compared the RNA-seq and ribosomal protected fragments profiles (Ribo-seq) in the ventral part of telenchephalon, hypothalamus and pituitary by deep sequencing.
