Title Gene Expression Analysis of HUVEC Seeded rBEL Contructs at Low and High Phases of Glucose Consumption

Summary This study was designed to measure global changes in gene expression in reendothelialized bioengineered liver contructs (rBELs) between early (low glucose consumption) and late (high glucose consumption) stages of perfusion bioreactor culture.
 
Overall design This study included rBELs in low (n=2) and high (n=6) glucose consumption phases. HUVECs (n=1) and human liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (HLSECs) (n=1) were included as controls.
