Title |
ACAA2 genome-binding patterns before and after transverse aortic constriction in C57Bl/6J mice on different diets [ACAA2] |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Genome binding/occupancy profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
Acetyl-CoA acyltransferace 2 (ACAA2) associates with chromatin at promoter sites in the heart of C57Bl/6J mice. A high-fat vs. low-fat diet reduces it promoter abundance, whereas, transverse aortic constriction (TAC) increases it slight.

Overall design |
C57Bl/6J mice were fed either a low-fat (10 Kcal%, Fat 10 or control), or high-fat (60 Kcal%, Fat 60 or HiFat) diet for 4 days before subjecting them to a sham or transverse aortic constriction (TAC) surgeries. The mice were maintained on the same diet for another week, before they were assessed by echocardiography, the hearts isolated, chromatin extracted , and subjected to anti-ACAA2 ChIP-Seq
