Title |
eQTL mapping of fetal-like pancreatic progenitor cells |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
The goal of this study is to understand the effects of genetic variation on gene expression in fetal-like pancreatic progenitor cells. We generated bulk RNA-seq from 107 iPSC-derived pancreatic progenitor cells (iPSC-PPC) from iPSC lines derived from 106 individuals from the iPSCORE resource. We then conducted genome-wide expression quantitative trait loci analyses to identify genetic variants associated with gene expression and isoform usage.

Overall design |
This repository provides bulk RNA-seq data generated from 107 iPSC-derived pancreatic progenitor samples from 106 individuals in the iPSCORE Resource (PMID: 28410642). 102 samples were sequenced twice to obtain sufficient number of reads while five samples were sequenced once because they already had sufficient reads.
