Title Transcriptomes analyses of gastric cancer HGC-27 cell line treated with lactate

Summary Lactate is a major metabolite of tumor cell as a result of Warburg effect. Yet it remains elusive whether and how intracellular lactate may ever drive tumor cell proliferation. To investigat the role of lactate in proliferating cancer cells, we treated HGC27 cells with lactate and then sent for RNA-sequencing analysis.
 
Overall design Total RNA was extracted from HGC27 cells cultured in glucose-free medium with or without exogenous 25mM lactate in duplicate and then sent for transcriptomes analysis.
