Status Public on Oct 03, 2024
Title Young and Aged Striatal Astrocyte MERFISH Panel
Platform organism synthetic construct
Sample organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Other
Summary Given that the striatum is a large, multifunctional nucleus, we next aimed to understand where astrocyte subtypes exist in the striatum at a single-cell resolution using MERFISH. We reproducibly identified the seven astrocyte subtypes, some of which were dorsal (A1, A7), medial (A3, A6) or ventral dominant (A4).

Overall design MERFISH was performed according to Vizgen's instructions. Data was initally processed using MERLIN, and cell segmentation completed with Vizgen software.
