Growth protocol |
Rice seeds of B, H and R line were surface sterilized with 0.1% HgCl2 and were soaked in RO (reverse osmosis purified) water overnight in dark. Next day, the seeds were spread on a gauze float and grown hydroponically in RGM medium at 28±2 oC in culture room conditions. Shoots and roots were separated and frozen in liquid nitrogen
