total RNA samples were isolated using Trizol reagent (Invitrogen) and purified on RNeasy spin columns (Quiagen). Double-stranded cDNA was synthesized from 10 mcg RNA using Superscript Double Stranded cDNA synthesis kit (Invitrogen), phenol/chloroform extracted and ethanol precipitated.
