Channel 2
Source name S.aureus 2H 0μg/ml GR-SU
Organism Staphylococcus aureus subsp. aureus MW2
Characteristics strain: MW2
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was extracted from the bacterial cells using a FastRNA Pro Blue Kit (MP Biomedicals, Cleveland, OH, USA) according to the manufacturer’s protocol.
Label Cy5
Label protocol Test and control cDNAs were labelled with Cy3 and Cy5 (GE Healthcare UK), respectively.

Hybridization protocol 65℃ 20H
Scan protocol The arrays were then scanned with an Agilent scanner (Agilent Technologies).
Description Gene expression after 2H
Data processing The scanned images were analyzed with Feature Extraction Software 9.1 (Agilent) using default parameters (protocol GE1-v1_91 and Grid: 012391_D_20060331) to obtain background subtracted and spatially detrended Processed Signal intensities. Features flagged in Feature Extraction as Feature Non-uniform outliers were excluded.
