Source name |
glp-4, S basal (liq), 12h
|
Organism |
Caenorhabditis elegans |
Characteristics |
media: S basal, E. coli OP50 treatment: S basal tissue: Whole organism
|
Treatment protocol |
Animals were grown until young adult stage. Afterward, worms were incubated for 12 hours at 25°C in 6-well plates with liquid S basal media + E. coli with media control or pyoverdine (PVD). A cohort of glp-4 worms that remaind on 10 cm NGM plates served as an additional control
|
Growth protocol |
glp-4 worms were synchronized by hypochlorite treatment. Arrested L1s were plated on 10 cm NGM plates seeded with E. coli OP50 and grown at 15°C overnight then shifted to 25°C for 44h until they reached sterile young adult stage.
