Data processing For data processing, the adapter sequences were trimmed from raw sequence reads. The small RNA sequences were further trimmed to the lengths between 14 nt and 35 nt nucleotides (for HiSeq 2000) and 14 nt and 75 nt (for Nextseq 500).
Sequence data processing was conducted using in-house Perl scriptsand Unix shell scripts developed by Genomics group at DOW AgroSciences.
