Reads filtering under criteria removing reads with 20% of the base quality lower than 13.
ChIP-seq reads were aligned to the GCF_000772875.2 genome assembly using Bowtie aligner version 2.0 with default parameters.
Data were filtered using the following specifications
MACS2 peak finding algorithm (version 2.1.0) was used to identify regions of ChIP-seq enrichment over background (pvalue < 0.01).

Supplementary_files_format_and_content: peaks were called using macs2.
