Cells were lysed and the RNA purified using the High Pure RNA Isolation Kit from Roche following the provided protocol. RNA purity was assessed using the Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer. Strand-specific mRNA-seq libraries were generated from 1 ug total RNA using the TruSeq Stranded mRNA library prep kit (Illumina) according to manufacturer's instructions
