Extraction protocol Total RNA was extracted using Trizol reagent (Invitrogen) following the manufacturer's recommendations. Qualified total RNA was further purified using RNeasy micro kit (QIAGEN, GmBH, Germany) and RNase-Free DNase Set (QIAGEN, GmBH, Germany)
Label Cy3
Label protocol Cyanine-3 (Cy3) labeled cRNA was prepared using Low Input Quick Amp Labeling Kit, One-Color (Agilent technologies), and purified using RNeasy mini kit (QIAGEN).
 
Hybridization protocol Each microarray chip slide was hybridized with 600 ng Cy3-labeled cRNA using Gene Expression Hybridization Kit (Agilent technologies) according to the manufacturer’s instructions. After 17 h hybridization, slides were washed with Gene Expression Wash Buffer Kit,
Scan protocol Microarray chips were scanned by Agilent Microarray Scanner with default settings.

Data processing Data were extracted with Feature Extraction software 10.7 (Agilent technologies), and normalized using Quantile algorithm, Gene Spring Software 11.0 (Agilent technologies).
