Comparison of Gene Expression in CD34+ Cells from Bone Marrow and G-CSF Mobilized Peripheral Blood by High Density Oligonucleotide Array Analysis. CD34 cells were isolated from cadaveric bone marrow by a combination of magnetic bead enrichment and flow cytometry. Total RNA was isolated with Qiagen RNEasy columns and converted to biotin-labeled cRNA by standard Affymetrix protocols. For analysis the sample was scaled to an arbitrary value of 1000 by overall hybridization intensity to allow comparison of multiple samples.
