Sample GSM647450 Query DataSets for GSM647450
Status Public on Jun 01, 2011
Title Stringent
Sample type RNA

Source name RLM-RACE products reverse transcribed with olfactory receptor degenerate primers and amplified by nested PCR
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics strain: C57/Bl6
age: 6-8 wk (adult)
tissue: olfactory epithelium
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol For each sample, olfactory epithelia were dissected from five 6-8wk adult C57/Bl6 mice. RNA was extracted using Trizol and RLM-RACE performed using Invitrogen GeneRacer according to the manufacturers instructions with the exception that cDNA was reverse transcribed using degenerate primers against olfactory receptor coding sequences.
Label biotin
Label protocol 5-7ug of DNA was fragmented using UDG/APE and biotinylated using terminal transferase using Affymetrix fragmentation and labeleing kit

Hybridization protocol 5-7ug of DNA was hybridizing at the Stanford PAN facility according to standard Affymetrix protocols
Scan protocol Arrays were scanned at the Stanford PAN facility according to standard Affymetrix protocols
Description Stringent Hybridization
Data processing Data was normalized and analyzed with MAT; all coordinates are mm9/Mouse 2007. Files included here use window 50, maxgap 30, minProbes 5 and default p-value though various parameters were used in analysis. File 'GSE26373_olfrnamedproms.txt' contains final TSS calls for 1085 olfactory receptor genes in mm9 coordinates.
